Nice smooth to the end

I have been tasting many Whiskies of late. Basil Heydon's has been on my list. It compares favorably with Buffalo Trace which Is smoother and comparably priced. Not quite as good as Blanton's, but with a $40 price difference it also compares favorably! My latest fave is the Irish "Sexton". The difference, I think, is the Rye which while adding body does give it a bit of a harsh finish. Still, a Very Good and moderately priced spirit!
