A small family reunion. We met at a great establishment in Johnson City TN. Great atmosphere, food and staff. We just needed to compliment the memorable moment with the right bourbon. I texted our Navy SWCC son his his preference. He texted back "ask for Basil Haydens, you will enjoy.". He, and the bourbon, were spot on! My new favorite.

Was introduced to this fine mash over six years ago and it will forever hold a warm spot in my heart. Having never delved into bourbon much beforehand, I didn't know what to expect. As much as it did then, it still never fails to please me and those I'm sharing it with.
