angostura® cocoa bitters

Subtle bitter cocoa taste

Angostura bitters is a classic in my cocktail repertoire. I have their aromatic bitters and orange bitters so I was excited to try the cocoa bitters too. The cocoa bitters has a very subtle bitter cocoa flavour , exactly as the product describes. You can add it to your classic cream based cocktails, or anything where a hint of dark chocolate seems appropriate. In this case I did an old fashioned cocktail with a luxardo cherry and cocoa bitters and I loved the combo. I'm looking forward to experimenting more from this company!

New incentive to have more chocolate based drinks! 🍹🧋 and coffee too! Gives that extra kick without overpowering the drink, and helps to balance out the sweetness inherent to certain beverages! Smells awesome! It's like this mysterious dark chocolate and coffee. Pairs well with everything that have coffee! Specifically with iced coffee cool brewed! Presentation great as is usual on Angostura products! And price point it's also amicable with the wallet! New staple in my bar! Notes of dark cocoa and toasted almonds! Really who would say no to that!
