No matter which Cincoro tequila you prefer, it all starts with the same 100% Blue Weber agave plants harvested from the famed highland and lowland regions of Jalisco, Mexico, the birthplace of tequila. The distilling process is performed by the generational tequila-making Maestri family at the Destiladora del Valle de Tequila. It is the same for all Cincoro products, which allows for the various aging intervals to shine through in each of the expressions.
Both on and off the court, championship products take time to build, and that’s especially true for the Cincoro brand as illustrated by their aging process. The Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo products are all aged in ex Tennessee Whiskey barrels considerably longer than the minimum times required for all tequilas.
This extra aging adds depth and complexity to the spirits and imparts many of the characteristics from the barrels, such as notes of toasted oak, maple, butterscotch, vanilla, and chocolate. The end results are rich and delicious sipping tequilas worthy of any postgame drink — both neat or on the rocks.
