Hill Country Gold Rush
This Gold Rush is made with local Austin, Texas honey to pay tribute to the gold rush that established Hill Country as the home for many pioneers.
To Make Desert Creek Honey Syrup: Add 1 cup Desert Creek Honey (or other Texas honey) and ½ cup water into a medium saucepan. Warm over medium heat until honey is dissolved into water. Do not boil. Take off the heat and let the syrup cool. Pour into a glass bottle for storage. Syrup can be refrigerated for up to 1 month.
