Add Saint Liberty Bertie's Bear Gulch Bourbon to elevate this cocktail with a hint of smoke and this one will leave you feeling like your struck gold. This cocktail was made famous by Milk & Honey NYC.

To Make Honey Syrup: Combine ½ cup honey (adjust to taste) and ½ cup water into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until honey is dissolved. Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container. Syrup will keep, refrigerated, for up to 1 month.

      • Fill cocktail shaker half full with ice.
      • Measure bourbon and pour into shaker.
      • Measure honey syrup and pour into shaker.
      • Place lid on shaker and shake vigorously 20 times.
      • Fill rocks glass with ice and strain cocktail over ice.
      • Garnish with lemon peel or wheel.
